HJUK Founder & HUU Co-Founder
Dawn Lawrence is the Founder and CEO of Hospitality Jobs UK (HJUK), a leading specialist hospitality job board supporting the UK hospitality sector.
With over 35 years’ experience across retail and hospitality recruitment, talent strategy and workforce development, Dawn is recognised as a trusted voice in hospitality hiring, retention and reward.
Dawn is a long-standing ambassador and advisor for Only A Pavement Away, supporting people facing homelessness, ex-offenders and veterans into supported hospitality careers and has built a strong reputation for connecting Senior and C-suite talent with leading brands and fast-growing businesses.
She is a regular industry speaker and panel host and works closely with organisations including the British Institute of Innkeeping and the Institute of Hospitality, two of the leading hospitality trade bodies representing the sector across the UK.
Dawn was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of her contribution to the hospitality sector and support to universities and future talent.

CBII designation from the British Institute of Innkeeping supporting Pubs and Bars across the UK

After years in international hospitality and events, Lisa now works in academia. With a passion for understanding people's choices and values, she aims to guide businesses to make values-driven decisions. Lisa opts for interactive workshops over lectures, fostering critical thinking and active learning. Her industry experience spans chains, mega events, and exclusive functions, teaching her the importance of everyone's story. Lisa mentors students for success, finding fulfilment in their achievements. Additionally, she contributes to the Council for Hospitality Management Education and consults for various hospitality projects. As a co-founder of HUU, she strives to connect education with industry needs, and believes universities are teaching and developing the future leaders of our industry!

Founder/Director of Scrumptious | Marketing Director at HJUK
Sam Chance is the Founder of Scrumptious, a dedicated hospitality marketing and events agency focussed on driving ROI. Sam has over 18 years of hospitality and event marketing experience with previous senior roles at Otolo, Hospitality Jobs UK, Montgomery Group, Centaur Media, Reed Exhibitions and Clarion Events. Sam is also an ambassador for Hospitality Action and holds strong relationships with industry media and associations.

Tash manages client campaigns at Hospitality Jobs UK, bringing over 17 years of experience in job boards and marketing to the table.
